The former hit series MacGyver that aired in the 80’s is coming back in a new way! CBS has decided to bring back the series with an all new cast. The original series starred Henry Winkler, John Rich, John Mantley. CBS describes the remake as “A reimagining of the classic series, is an action-adventure drama about 20-something Angus “Mac” MacGyver (Lucas Till) who creates a clandestine organization within the U.S. government where he uses his extraordinary talent for unconventional problem solving and vast scientific knowledge to save lives. Joining his team on high-risk missions around the globe is maverick former CIA agent Jack Dalton (George Eads). Under the aegis of the Department of External Services, MacGyver takes on the responsibility of saving the world, armed to the teeth with resourcefulness and little more than bubble gum and a paper clip”. Former MacGyver star and Golden Globe winning actor Henry Winkler will be one of the executive producers on the show.

The series will be filming in Atlanta and Central Casting is now casting for background actors. They are looking for men and women who have a flexible schedule and are able to shoot between Sunday, July 10th and Tuesday, July 26th. Continue Reading
