Have you always wanted to work on The Vampire Diaries? If you are ready to hit the set with some of your favorite blood thirsty characters, your chance is here! The hit CW series is looking for background extras for the series. Casting directors are seeking men and women for a shoot that will be on Wednesday, August 10th. The Vampire Diaries is based on the best-selling book series that was written by L.J. Smith. The show follows the story of Elena Gilbert who has a regular life until the vampire brothers Stefan and Damon Salvatore come into her world. Elena, a teenage girl played by Nina Dobrev, is torn between the two brothers.

Casting directors are looking for a male or female to play a Bartender. They are looking for actors who are ages 25 to 35 years old. If you have bartending experience, be sure to note it. Actresses are also needed to play the role of a Waitress. Females of all ethnicities who are between the ages of 18 and 35 years old are being sought. The team is also seeking several males and females to play Patrons. These roles call for both men and women ages 18 to 45 years old of all ethnicities.

All of these roles will be filming on Wednesday, August 10th in Decatur, Georgia. The exact call time hasn’t been set but they are expecting a morning call time. All actors must be available to be on set for a minimum of 6 to 8 hours regardless of call time. The pay rate is $60.00 for 8 hours of filming plus over time after 8 hours.
