CBGB – Movie
An exciting new feature film is coming to the Atlanta area and so are many opportunities for local up and coming performers of all ages to be a part of it. Producers and casting directors of CBGB have compiled an all-star cast for this exciting new biopic but several more roles are yet to be cast. Auditions for roles of all sizes are happening soon. This could be your big film break.
CBGB is set to tell the tale of the infamous and highly influential New York punk rock club that was a worldwide touchstone for music in the 1970’s and 1980’s. CBGB was the launching point for such seminal punk and new waves bands as The Ramones, The Talking Heads, Blondie, The B-52’s, The Misfits, Patti Smith and Joan Jett and now the club’s story will be told with Atlanta standing in for the streets of New York City. Among the amazing talent already assembled for this intriguing new film are Malin Akerman (Watchmen, Rock Of Ages, Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle), Alan Rickman (Die Hard, The Harry Potter Franchise, Alice In Wonderland), Ashley Greene (The Twilght Films, Skateland, King Of California) and Rupert Grint (The Harry Potter Franchise, Wild Target, Cherrybomb) and now you could be right alongside them.
