Devil’s Knot Starring Reese Witherspoon – Movie
Two of Hollywood’s most talented performers are coming to the Atlanta area for their powerful new film and that means there will soon be several opportunities for talented local actors to be a part of the magic. Academy Award Winners Reese Witherspoon (Walk The Line) and Colin Firth (The King’s Speech) are set to shoot Devil’s Knot right here in the greater Atlanta area and casting calls and auditions for roles of all sizes and for all ages will be happening very soon.
Devil’s Knot tells the true story of the infamous West Memphis Three murder case that involved three Tennesee teenagers imprisoned for the murders of three boys in what was thought to be a satanic ritual. The teens were convicted in 1994 and after 18 years of tireless work on behalf of their attorney’s were released. This is a truly harrowing tale that will surely be a big player when awards season comes around. In addition to the amazing Witherspoon and Firth director Atom Egoyen (The Sweet Hereafter, Chloe) has assembled a fantastic featured cast that includes Mireille Enos (AMC’s The Killing, Gangster Squad), Bruce Greenwood (Spuer 8, National Treasure: Book of Secrets), Academy Award nominee Amy Ryan (Gone Baby Gone, Dan In Real Life) and Alessandro Nivola (Face/Off, Laurel Canyon). Working alongside these fantastic performers could be the experience of an actors life and the big break that you have been looking for.
